Japanologist’s perspective

Hi there! I am Kate, a Japanologist from Slovakia, currently studying for my Japanology master’s degree in the Czech Republic. During my bachelor’s studies, I studied for one year at a partner university in Japan as an exchange student, and during this time lots of things happened (and with little “help” of Corona outbreak even more). 

After I returned I discussed my experiences with my classmates who also had been in Japan like me, and we figured it was pretty crazy stuff sometimes that we had gone through and that it would be a shame not to share it with those, who might be interested. 

So I decided to interview those who have something to say about how Japan was for them, record it and share it with you here, through this podcast.
